The BOO/BOOT Model

Che Energy's Build, Own, Operate (BOO) and Build, Own, Operate, Transfer (BOOT) models are ideal for large-scale energy users who need new generation capacity without the capital expenditure. We finance, build, and operate an on-site energy generation asset (like a solar farm or CHP plant) and sell the energy back to you at a predictable, often lower, rate through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). In a BOOT model, ownership of the asset is transferred to you at the end of the contract term.

Key Benefits

  • No Capital Outlay

Get a new, state-of-the-art energy generation facility with zero upfront investment.

  • Predictable Energy Costs

Lock in your electricity price for the duration of the long-term PPA, protecting your budget from market volatility.

  • Focus on Core Business

Che Energy handles the entire lifecycle of the energy asset, including development, permitting, construction, and operations.

  • Energy Independence & Resilience

On-site generation enhances your energy security and reduces reliance on the grid.

How It Works

Che Energy simplifies the path to energy efficiency. Here’s a step-by-step look at our BOO/BOOT process.

11. Project Feasibility

We assess your site's suitability and energy needs to design the optimal generation project.

22. Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

We sign a long-term PPA that defines the rate at which you will purchase the energy produced.

33. Construction & Operation

Che Energy finances, builds, and operates the energy asset, managing all technical and regulatory aspects.

44. (Optional) Transfer

In a BOOT model, the ownership and operation of the asset are transferred to you at the end of the agreement.
